Galway toddler Chloe Flaherty was diagnosed with craniosynostosis, a medical condition which caused her brain to fuse with her skull. Following surgery in April, the two-year-old had a major seizure, and has been left permanently brain damaged. Her parents have been told their child will not have a normal quality of life, and will be lucky to live until early childhood.
