During Fairtrade Fortnight, which runs until March 8, Bewley’s master coffee roaster Paul O’Toole said that “Mayo coffee drinkers can make a real difference for communities in developing nations if they choose coffees that are Fairtrade certified, with Westport and Castlebar already ahead of many other cities and towns throughout Ireland as they have designated Fairtrade status.”
