The Rendezvous Bar in Balla has lined up a number of new nights of entertainment to keep you occupied over the winter nights. On the first Friday of every month the Rendezvous will host a Texas Hold-em competition starting on November 4, it will be a €50 freeze out with a €14,000 starting stack. There will be an early bird chip-in, before 9.15pm and light refreshments will be served.

A Halloween fancy dress kiddies’ disco will take place on Friday October 28 at 7pm in The Broadhaven Bay Hotel, Belmullet.

THIS SATURDAY will see the launch of MUSIK, the new club night in Kelly’s, Bridge Street, which will feature new and vintage hip hop, soul, disco, house, electronic, and indie.

Disco Nouveau will be celebrating the bank holiday weekend with a dance party hosted by resident DJs Gamadon and Jay Carroll (Jayfe Lix) in The Stables, Mullingar. There will be no admission fee on the night to celebrate The Stables’ new management team headed-up by Declan Murray, and also to commemorate the legendary Tommy MacManus, who has accomodated the Disco Nouveau dance nights since their inception in January 2008.

Celebrate the summer holidays and the finish of the exams on Friday June 17 in Club Blue, Claremorris, from 9.30pm to 12.30am. A great night is sure to be had and there will be spot prizes galore. All second year students going into third year in September 2011 are now more than welcome to attend. As usual this disco will be fully supervised by the adult committee.
