Curves launches Zumba fitness course

Curves, Ireland’s leading fitness and weight loss centre for women, has launched a new and unique workout in partnership with Zumba, the dance-fitness phenomenon. The Curves Circuit with Zumba Fitness is the only 30-minute class that mixes the moves of Zumba with the proven strength training of Curves for one wildly effective workout. To celebrate the national roll-out of Curves with Zumba, past finalists of the Curves Curvette of the Year competition reunited along with staff and members from Curves to try out this new fitness phenomenon.

Curves launches 2011 food drive

Curves has announced the launch of its annual food drive, calling women across the country to donate a bag of non-perishable groceries to charities in need of a little extra help during these tougher economic times. This great community initiative is open to existing and non-Curves members, with an added bonus for those who have not yet joined. Curves will waive its joining fee for any new member who donates a bag of groceries at her local club during the first two weeks of April.

Bin your old bras at Curves

For the entire month of October, Curves, the women only fitness clubs, and the Irish Cancer Society are once again asking women all over Ireland to donate their old bras in order to raise much needed funds for the charity. And you do not have to be a member of Curves to get involved – all you have to do is gather together your (and even your friends’) unwanted bras and drop them off at your local Curves.

Contribute to your local community with Curves

Curves Castlebar is taking part in the 12th annual international Curves Food Drive which aims to help those in the local community who are in need of some extra assistance.
