Fine Gael leader Dep Enda Kenny has welcomed funding sanctioned by the Department of Community, Rural, and Gaeltacht Affairs to Mayo County Council for providing and upgrading rural recreational projects in north Mayo. This funding will be used to extend the North Mayo Coastal Trail and develop a linear cycle route as part of the national cycle network as well as improved signage, parking, and toilet facilities in certain areas.
