The 50th anniversary of the Marist College Leaving Certificate class of 1961 will be celebrated next weekend, Friday December 2.

This will take place in the Apparition Church, Knock, on September 30 from 8.30pm to midnight.

The Augustinians have been associated with Galway since the year 1500. Their first convent, or priory, was built on Fort Hill between 1506 and 1508.
