Loughrea and Athenry students get certs for Chernobyl fundraising

The Transition Year Students of Gairmscoil Mhuire, Athenry and St Raphael’s College, Loughrea, were presented with their certificates from Pat Dillon of the Sunflowers Chernobyl Childrens Charity, for their efforts in raising awareness and money for the Sunflowers Christmas Craft Fair Fundraising Event, which is to be held at the Raheen Woods Hotel on Sunday December 11. The students entered a poster competition, Georgia Dennis Hurlock and Ceire Maher of Gairmscoil Mhuire and Annabel Hynes of St Raphael’s College, were joint winners.
