The Galway minor footballers under the guidance of Clonbur's Stephen Joyce aim to collect the county's first Connacht minor title since 2007 when they face Sligo in Hyde Park (2pm ) on Sunday.
The side had a facile 3-14 to 1-3 victory over Mayo in their semi-final at McHale Park and, as a consequence, are raging hot favourites to defeat a Sligo side that surprised many people with their fine win over Roscommon in their semi-final.
Kilconly's Conor Mardsen is an impressive player at centre-forward and midfielder Cillian McDaid had a star game against Mayo the last day out.
If those two young men hit top form, they and their team will be hard stopped.
