Greek Isles
The Greek Isles are one of the all time favourite cruise destinations among guests, and one that remains at the top this year. There are many fantastic itineraries to explore the different Greek Isles from Mykonos to Santorini, sailing from Athens or as part of a wider Mediterranean cruise itinerary.
Western Mediterranean
This summer will see the debut of Royal Caribbean’s new ship Legend of the Seas, which will be sailing the western Mediterranean from Barcelona and Rome.
This is a particularly exciting arrival for families and perfect for multigenerational cruise holidays, as this brand new ship has something for guests of all ages.
Asia
“Asia is increasingly becoming a firm new favourite among our cruise clients looking for an exotic voyage,” explains Caroline.
“Japan and Thailand for ocean cruises and the Mekong River across Vietnam and Cambodia for river cruises are our top three destinations this year.”
Winter cruising
For those looking to escape to sunny shores during the winter months, the Caribbean, United Arab Emirates and itineraries taking in the Canary Islands, Madeira and Morocco are the most popular.
In terms of river cruising in winter, those looking for sunshine will love Egypt and the Nile; but there are many other incredible options, for instance the Amazon with Machu Picchu in South America.
River cruises
The Rhine and Danube remain the top favourites for river cruising, with Christmas markets sailings booking really quickly.
“I also love the Douro in Portugal, and for history lovers the Seine from Paris into Normandy is an incredible experience bringing you to the D-Day beaches and memorials,” she adds.
