Reel in the showband years with Ronan Collins

RONAN COLLINS' Reeling In The Showband Years, a smash hit for the past decade, is returning once again to The Town Hall Theatre on Wednesday January 15, as part of the celebrations marking its 11th anniversary.

Reeling In The Showband Years will be hosted by the RTÉ broadcaster, and will feature performances from Red Hurley, who has enjoyed an international career, performing in Las Vegas, and other parts of the USA, scoring hits with 'How Great Thou Art', 'When', and 'Tennessee Special'; and Linda Martin, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1992 with 'Why Me?'.

Also performing are Keith and Lorraine McDonald, whose father, Frankie, was trumpet player with Joe Dolan. Speaking of the late, great, Joe, Ronan Collins will also be singing his own tribute to the Mullingar legend. There will also be Shaun O’Dowd, who enjoyed hit records with 'You Are No Angel' and 'It’s Good To See You'; The Conquerors Showband from Galway, best known for the hit song, 'Baby Blue'; and Tommy and Jimmy Swarbrigg, who will sing their Eurovision songs, as well as 'If Ma Could See Me Now' and 'Looking Through The Eyes Of A Beautiful Girl'.

Doors are at 8pm. Tickets are now on sale from 091 - 569777 or .
