Fighting Words Mayo and The Linenhall Arts Centre are thoroughly excited to announce that a ‘Young Playwrights’ showcase will take place on Sunday, May 22, at The Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar.

The Linenhall is thrilled to announce that it will play host to world-renowned cellist ‘Patrick Dexter’ this evening, Friday, March 25.

A multi-faceted programme of events is accessible to local audiences in the coming weeks at the Linenhall Arts Centre. Inni-K is launching her highly anticipated third album ‘Iníon’ (meaning Daughter) and a special gig at the Linenhall marks the occasion, on Friday, March 11 at 8pm.

The Linenhall Arts Centre has a marvellous mix of upcoming events for Mayo audiences and creatives in March, including the return of comedy favourite Danny O’Brien to his spiritual home of Castlebar, as part of the ‘The God of All Things Bad’ tour.

On February 9, the Linenhall is proud to present the world premiere of Twilight, written by the esteemed John McDwyer in association with Beezneez theatre company. After thirty-five years, two friends reunite for coffee as the reason for their estrangement is gradually revealed in an amalgamation of McDwyer’s signature humour, and contemplative food-for-thought style.

The Linenhall Arts Centre will host a unique, outdoor experience on Friday, February 4, on Linenhall street. ‘Inside Outside’ is a musical celebration of the Linenhall’s historic building and its place in the heart of Castlebar for over 200 years.

The Linenhall is proud and excited to present The Vanbrugh and Michael McHale with their ‘Moonlight Tour’ on Friday, January 21, at an earlier time of 6pm, in accordance with government guidelines.
