Anne Marie Gibbons to perform in Knock
Mezzo Soprano Anne Marie Gibbons, who is originally from Louisburgh will perform alongside the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and the 120 member Peace Choir, on May 14 at 8pm in Knock Basilica. The performance will include the well known aria Vida Cor Meum as a duet with Tenor Owen Gilhooly.

The Mayo International Choral Festival presents A Concert For Peace Commemorating the 1916 Easter Rising and World War One on Saturday, May 14 2016 in Knock Basilica. Doors open 6.45pm with the concert 8pm. Tickets cost €25 for all reserved seating and €15 for restricted viewing. A feast for the senses awaits. Renowned Hungarian adjudicator Gabriella Thész for next Mayo International Choral Festival
The Mayo International Choral Festival (MICF) committee members are delighted with the addition of Gabriella Thész, from Hungary, to their adjudication panel for 2016. Gabriella Thész is a graduate of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary.
