Hoppy Bar Stars will open The Snug Bar's first full new year week, when they perform at 10pm on Friday, January 8. Hoppy Bar Stars are a well-known band who are really popular around the Athlone area - just the band to get you back into the habit of going out again after the excesses of Christmas!

This week The Snug Bar has a line-up that will appeal to all tastes, starting on Thursday, November 5 with Good Riddance at 9.30pm.

ONE OF Galway's finest singer-songwriters, Ultan Conlon, the fascinating talents of Maja Elliot, and Hanahazukashi, as well as alternative folk, and indie, will be seen and heard at the next series of Citóg nights in the Róisín Dubh.

Whether it's the rugby, the soccer, the songs, or just the craic you're after this week, The Snug Bar has it covered. 

Mark the start of a new month this Thursday, October 1, with a visit to The Snug Bar to catch renowned local musicians Jock and Dave. From 10pm they will be playing a wide range of songs to suit all musical tastes from the old classics to the current chart toppers.

With the rugby world cup well underway, it’s time to watch the points stack up and the pints go down at The Snug this coming weekend! And of course there’s plenty of live music action to catch between sporting events too.
