Belmullet GAA club are confident their €1.8 million GAA development will be finished in time for The 2010 National Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta finals which are scheduled to take place in the Mayo Gaeltacht capital on the June Bank Holiday weekend. The new state-of-the-art GAA facility on the outskirts of Belmullet town boasts two playing pitches, four dressing rooms, a club house, a covered stand, and parking facilities. Chairperson of Belmullet GAA club Sean Ó Gallachoir said he was delighted with the progress to date and that the project was on target and would be ready to host the National Comórtas finals from June 4-7.
