ROMEO AND Juliet, Shakespeare’s “star crossed lovers” whose families are embroiled in a vicious feud in Verona, is coming to Galway, but this production promises something a bit different.

The Royal Theatre has announced a return of Ballet Ireland to the stage with a new production of Romeo and Juliet choreographed by Morgann Runacre-Temple on December 7. The production had its world premiere at the Gaiety Theatre on Tuesday October 19.

“TWO HOUSEHOLDS both alike in dignity, In fair Verona where we lay our scene. From forth the fatal loins of these two foes, A pair of star-crossed lovers take their life.”

For two nights only, Coláiste na Coiribe bring you their production of the classic hit musical West Side Story, in the Black Box Theatre, February 2-3.
