Ireland West Airport staff were delighted last week to present a cheque for €30,550 to the airport's three nominated charities for 2016 — Cancer Care West, MS Ireland, and Pieta House. In late 2015, in an initiative by the airport, Ireland West Airport staff voted to select three Irish charities for the inaugural Ireland West Airport Charity of The Year programme for 2016.

Psychology at NUI Galway, with the support of Cancer Care West is currently recruiting people experiencing persistent fatigue since the completion of cancer treatment (treatment completed at least three months ago).
