Maughan lays out his credentials amid controversy

During an update on procurement for Mayo County Council, the authority’s procurement officer John Maughan laid out his credentials and qualifications at the June meeting of the council, following on from criticism of him at a previous meeting. My role is to oversee the information and ensure we have fair and honest competitions for all.” He went on to say that, “ I applied through an open competition for the job.
