Sports Partnership launches new action plan

Mayo Sports Partnership this week launched its new Strategy and Action Plan 2017-2021, the launch took place in Ballinrobe Golf Club and was carried out by Minister for Rural and Community Development, Michael Ring, and Caitheoirleach of Mayo County Council Cllr Richard Finn. Following the successful delivery of its previous two plans 2006 – 2010 and 2010 – 2014 the partnership plans to further deliver on its commitment to the people of Mayo, greater participation in recreational sport by all.

The commercial vacancy rate in Galway in Q2 2016 was 15.3%, above the national average of 13.1%. Commercial vacancy rates in Ireland have increased, from 12.6% in Q2 2015 to 13.1% in Q2 2016 according to new research published by GeoDirectory this week. 28,615 of the 219,176 commercial address points in Ireland were vacant.
