2010 has been a great year for The Saw Doctors with sell-out tours in Australia, USA, and the UK in the first half of the year, summer festival appearances at Glastonbury in June, Oxegen in July, and the V Festivals in August, culminating in the September release of the band’s long awaited new studio album, The Further Adventures of The Saw Doctors. And what better way to celebrate 2010 ticking into 2011 than by joining them for the biggest New Year’s Eve party in the west in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar.

The Saw Doctors will play their first public concert in Kilkenny in ten years on Friday October 15, at the Set Theatre to promote their new studio album, The Further Adventures of The Saw Doctors, which TV star and comedian Peter Kay launched at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin at the end of September.

There are still a handful of tickets remaining for tonight’s Coronas’ show in the Royal Theatre and this is a show that you don’t want to miss. Two very successful albums, Heroes and Ghosts and Tony was an Ex-Con, including their recently released single ‘Someone Else’s Hands’, have ensured this Irish band is receiving wide ranging support and affection from fans. Their first album was described by Hot Press as “a soulful line between Jeff Buckley and the Libertines”. The Coronas, featuring Danny O Reilly, Graham Knox, Conor Egan, and Dave Mc Phillips, have achieved platinum sales in Ireland with Heroes or Ghosts, and spawned massive singles such as ‘Grace, Don't Wait!’, ‘Heroes or Ghosts’, and especially ‘San Diego Song’ which became an anthem in pubs and radio stations all across the country.
