Two Mayo students have been named as finalists in the Doodle 4 Google art competition and are now among the 60 Irish students in with a chance of winning the national Doodle 4 Google title. Everyone in Mayo is now being urged to visit www.google.ie/doodle4google and vote for Shona Farragher and Seren O'Toole to bring the title to Mayo.

Some 170 Mayo schools are to benefit from the allocation of funding for high-tech classrooms, said Beverley Flynn, TD.
