The Irish Cancer Society is calling on people in Kilkenny to come out and collect at this year’s Daffodil Day, as the society aims to reach a national target of €3.7 million.

Some 91 people have contacted the Cancer Society’s Cancer Information Service and over €13,500 in financial aid was provided to people in Westmeath in 2010.

This year’s Daffodil Day will take place across the country on Friday March 25 and the Irish Cancer Society is calling on everyone in Mayo to come out and collect on the day at a location convenient to them.
