Roscommon Arts Centre and Music Network are delighted to announce a concert by The Callino Quartet on Wednesday April 8, at 8pm in Castlecoote House, Roscommon. The quartet will perform Joseph Haydn’s The Seven Last Words of the Saviour on the Cross.   

OWEN PALLETT is many things - composer, violinist, winner of the inaugural Polaris Music Prize, and co-writer of the string arrangements for the Arcade Fire’s Funeral. However he is best known as Final Fantasy.

A TOTAL of 32 strings, 16 hands, and eight musicians will combine to perform the music of Mendelssohn when ConTempo and the RTÉ Vanbrugh Quartet play The Hotel Meyrick on Monday April 20 at 8pm.

THE THREE Tenors - Le Voci’ - le voci being Italian for ‘the voices’ - return to Co Galway to perform at the Station House Theatre, Clifden, on Saturday July 11 at 9pm.
