Chairman of the Roscommon Hospital Action Committee, John McDermott, has been confirmed as the group’s candidate for the forthcoming General Election in the Roscommon-South Leitrim constituency.

There was a packed auction room in the Victoria Hotel when O’Donnellan & Joyce placed four properties up for sale by public auction last Friday. There was a substantial number of buyers along with people who attended out of curiosity, and there was a sense of amazement at the intense bidding for some of the properties and the tremendous value that was obtained on others.
