Local Enterprise Office is the new name for the county and city enterprise boards, a new national resource, staffed with professional people with business training, to assist budding entrepreneurs and existing businesses in every county in Ireland. LEOs offer an enhanced enterprise support model with emphasis on delivery at local level. The primary objectives of the LEO are (1) To facilitate access to enterprise services, (2) To promote and support enterprise at local level, in particular for micro-enterprises.

The winner of the competition, organised by Local Enterprise Office Westmeath, will be announced at the ‘Here to Help Small Business’ event taking place on September 23 at the Mullingar Park Hotel. Adjudication has taken place and the entries in the three categories are waiting anxiously for the announcement of the winner.
