GSPCA volunteers were shocked this week when they found a kitten had been shoved through the letterbox of the charity’s city centre shop.

Connolly’s Boarding Cattery is situated on the coast road in the beautiful Connemara countryside, 10 miles west of An Spidéal near Ros-A-Mhíl. It is the purr-fect boarding cattery for your cat.

Mayo SPCA is appealing this week for a home for Cody, a young, fairly large male dog, who is neutered, healthy, and had his first vaccination. He has a lovely temperament, is house trained, very obedient for his age, and excellent on recall, walks well on a lead although needs reminding not to pull from time to time, loves other dogs and playing with them. Because of his size they are looking for a home with older children as he could easily knock toddlers off their feet when playing ball, etc. He would also be an ideal companion pet for anyone living alone.
