There will be free information available including ‘A man’s guide to a healthy heart.’ Also in September, the IMF will be working with Iorras FM to invite men to help it with the history of Erris. Beginning on Saturday 24, it will have a regular programme with music and chat about days gone by. It would love to hear from any men over 55 who would like to get involved in this. Áras Inis Gluaire will hold a men’s community initiative on August 26 between 12 noon and 2pm for all men over 55.

Culture Night takes place in the county on September 23 as 25 cultural hotspots will be sharing and showcasing a wide variety of events.

For any men over 55 who would like to go to the Erris Agricultural Show on Sunday July 24, there will be buses running from Doohoma, Blacksod, and Carrowtighe at 11am, with several pick up points along the way.
