10 Years walking for Ability West

The annual 5 mile Menlo walk in aid of Ability West is celebrating ten years and the community walk is looking to raise a bumper €10,000 to mark the occasion. The walk will take place on Sunday 12th February. The walk will start at 12 noon from Scoil Bhride Menlo, Galway City.

As part of the partnership between Western Care Association and the Kavanagh Group marking the associations 50 year anniversary, the Kavanagh Group is delighted to announce a Fun Run-Walk-Jog event. A series of fun walks are to take place across the county on Sunday, June 5 and Monday, June 6 next. Each walk will consist of a 5k and 10k route options, and refreshments will be available afterwards in each store. These walks will bring people of all ages and from all walks of life together to support the wonderful work that Western Care do in each of our towns every day.
