If you have been affected by suicide you would be most welcome to an evening in the Family Centre, Chapel Street, Castlebar, which will be hosted by families who themselves have experienced a suicide. They will speak of how they are trying to cope and face into the future. The get-together is on Wednesday October 10 starting at 7.30pm.

Effective use of dreams in therapy

Dreams are part of all of our lives. They show a level of subconscious functioning of the mind that clearly serves an important role in our overall wellbeing. This workshop is for counsellors and psychotherapists - its aim is to help tease out how to use dreams as a resource for counselling/psychotherapy clients and indeed hopefully benefit personally from the learning too. Bullying: Taking your ‘good’ power back

A presentation on the subtle and not-so-subtle ways in which bullying occurs in a wide variety of settings such as schools and work will take place at the Family Centre, Chapel Street, Castlebar, on Wednesday March 21 from 8pm to 10pm.
