Friday evening by the banks of the Camac offered ample proof that an industrious Bohemians’ midfield is the most effective in the country as St Patrick’s Athletic were thumped by the formidable Gypsies.

It was a highly successful weekend for the two Carlow under-age teams as FC Carlow and the Carlow Youths League both recorded impressive victories. Despite the horrific wind and rain, most of the scheduled matches went ahead as planned.
