Croagh Patrick climb raises funds for Hospice

Last September, in conjunction with the Marie Keating Foundation, a climb of Croagh Patrick was organised by a team of volunteers. The event was followed by refreshments, and music by local musicians at Carrowleg Cottage, Kilmeena. The proceeds from the event were donated to local deserving causes including the Mayo-Roscommon Hospice where a syringe driver was purchased for the charity. Apart from the fundraising aspects of the venture, many friendships have been forged and links between Clare, Mayo, and Galway have been made.
