The newly developed Crown Square Development in Mervue, Galway City, is set to become a hub for the local community, with amenities such as cafes, a food-hall, a walking track, a pharmacy, and a medical centre. Initiative to improve services for disabled people at local businesses

Creative Writing for Beginners with Kevin Higgins takes place one evening per week (Monday) from 7-9.30pm (10 weeks). It commences on Monday, September 12, 2022. Advance booking is essential. Places cost €140. Kevin Higgins will provide writing exercises for, and give gentle critical feedback to, those interested in trying their hand at writing stories, poems, or memoir.
