Fáilte Ireland is inviting local tourism businesses, tourism and community group members, as well as all other interested parties and individuals, to take part in a series of workshops running from Tuesday, April 9 to Tuesday, April 16 along the Mayo coast.

An allocation of €500,000 for the Lecanvey to Bertra section of the Clew Bay Trail was announced by the Government this week and marks some major progress in the development of the new tourist amenity which is designed to cater for pedestrians, cyclists and visitors to the county.

The 15th Annual De Care Dental Claremorris 8k took place recently. It was also a target race in the 2016 Mayo AC Vodafone C&C Cellular Club League. The 8k race was over a newly measured one lap course starting at Claremorris track, and replaced the five mile route which was used previously and started in the town centre.
