People of the Tribes: Meet Dudley.

I’m Dudley Van Niekerk from Oranmore Co Galway and I’m a Big Airs Extreme Kiteboarder, owner and instructor at Rush Kitesurfing in Galway. I have lived in Ireland for almost 20 years and have spent the last 18 years in Galway. I'm also a hypnotherapist and a personal trainer. I have broken the Irish Big Airs Kitesurfing record twice in the last year and am the current national holder of the big airs record at a staggering 18,7m high. I'm an Ambassador for Cabrinha Kiteboarding, which is probably the worlds top kitesurfing brand. I love everything about Galway, the cool vibe, the awesome craft beer we have, the people and especially the fantastic prevailing South West winds we get here make kitesurfing truly amazing here. I’ve kited all over the world and I have to say that the spots we have in Galway to kite are world-class in every way and that includes deepest darkest winter. I wouldn’t wont to live anywhere else in the world. Galway Rocks.
