A first year student from St Mary’s CBS Mullingar is to represent his school and county at the All-Ireland Student Enterprise Awards with his creative pottery business.

Mikolaj Pietrykowski won the junior section of the Westmeath Student Enterprise Competition with his innovative range of bespoke pottery pieces, Pietry Pottery. A selection of his pieces can be viewed on www.pietrypottery.webs.com

Mikolaj will compete in the junior section of the national final this Wednesday April 2 in Croke Park, Dublin.

As an extension to his original product, he now offers a DIY ‘Make your own pottery’ kit which will be on sale exclusively this Sunday March 30 in the Harbour Place shopping centre, Mullingar. All purchases will help Mikolaj boost his sales in advance of the big day!
