Westmeath County Council in conjunction with Westmeath Community & Voluntary Forum and Westmeath Comhairle na nÓg are hosting a Mental Health Seminar for community activists, youth workers, support workers, and all with an interest in the subject.
The seminar takes place in the Annebrook House Hotel next Friday May 17 from 10am to 2.30pm, and aims to provide information on the mental health services that are available in County Westmeath and how those services may be accessed. There will also be an opportunity for those attending to interact with and question presenters on the services provided.
Presentations on the day will be provided by Finola Colgan, development officer, Mental Health Ireland, Midlands region; Mary McGrath, school health promotion officer; and Josephine Rigney, suicide prevention resource officer, HSE Midlands.
Places are limited and will be allocated to organisations on a first come, first served basis. For further information contact Ann Marie Nash at [email protected] or (044 ) 9332217.
