Multyfarnham retiree helps launch trade and tourism show for the active retired

Local woman Mary Daly, a member of the Multyfarnham Active Retirement Association participated in a photocall in Dublin recently to help launch the Trade and Tourism Show, organised by the national representative body Active Retirement Ireland (ARI ). The Trade and Tourism Show will take place at the Citywest Hotel on Tuesday April 17. It will run from noon until 6pm, and is open to the public, free of charge.

Ms Daly - who is a member of the National Executive of ARI posed with other members of the organisation on the Liffey boardwalk in Dublin to publicise details of the Trade and Tourism Show. The show will be attended by‘active retired’ people from throughout Ireland, and will offer a range of activities, including a fashion show where all the models are aged 55-plus; a cookery demo by celebrity chef Kevin Dundon; and a health section providing free checks, advice, and talks.
