Two further men have been charged in relation to the ongoing Traveller feud in Mullingar.
Jamie Dinnegan of 224 Dalton Park, Mullingar is charged with having two hatchets and a sword in his possession when stopped by Gardaí.
He is charged with having the weapons on August 22, 2008 at the Maxol Service Station on Dublin Bridge to “incapacitate or intimidate” a person in a particular or general instance “as a participant in the ongoing feud in Mullingar, Westmeath between the Nevins and McDonaghs/Dinnegans”.
He has just turned 18 and was granted bail on his own surety of €1,000 with no cash to be lodged.
Similar bail conditions were applied to the young man who is to appear at Mullingar District Court on May 11 with other co-accused.
John McDonagh of 5 Windtown Crescent, Navan was also granted bail on the same conditions. He lodged €1,000 cash with the court to secure his freedom until May 11.
He is charged with violent disorder.
