One of Ireland's most noted and sought after performance consultants, Gerry Hussey is coming to Castlebar for an evening of talks and demonstrations that will appeal to anyone looking to improve or optimise their health and wellbeing.
'Integrated Health and Wellbeing for You', which is being organised by Network Mayo with support from Castlebar Chamber of Commerce, will appeal to business professionals, sports enthusiasts, and anyone with a general interest in improving their own health.
Gerry Hussey has been working at the forefront of Olympic and International sport since graduating from Trinity College Dublin in 2003. In his role as performance consultant, Mr Hussey has coached elite athletes for Olympic Games, Heineken cups, and European and World championships. He brings an unrivalled wealth of honesty, experience, and infectious passion to his work from golf to sailing and Olympic boxing to corporate coaching.
Mr Hussey will be joined by Miriam Kerins, a qualified and practicing pharmacist with a passion for holistic health and wellbeing. This passion has led her to train as an integrated health, wellness, and nutritional coach as well as a yoga instructor and holistic therapist. She believes that medication can play a vital role in the management of health but that true wellbeing goes far beyond that. She believes that it is the integration and union of cognitive, emotional, physical, nutritional, and mental health that leads to true health, vitality, and wellness.
Ms Kerins' collective qualifications and expertise in both pharmaceutical and complementary health therapies give her a unique and integrated approach to human health and wellness.
The Network Mayo soapbox speaker on the night is Michelle Malone from That's So Shelly Fitness. The event takes place in Breaffy House Resort on Wednesday May 18 at 7.30pm. Attendees are advised that casual dress is encouraged.
