A truck caught fire at a busy filling station in Castlebar this morning (Saturday, March 26 ) and the Mayo Fire service was required to put out the fire that broke out at around 8am in the vehicle mere meters from a number of petrol and diesel pumps.

The incident occurred at Mulroys Topaz service station located at the Moneen Roundabout on the outskirts of the town near the main Dublin road. Nobody was injured in the fire and it was brought under control by the fire service and the busy service station resumed business after the fire was brought under control.
