The beautifully laid out playground is a perfect setting with vast open space for spectators to lounge while taking in the electric atmosphere of the event, children can play in the safety of a closed in environment while parents watch on.

The first run takes in part of the new Greenway to Turlough, after 2.5k a sharp turn left uphill takes participants onto the old Turlough Road finishing back at the Springfield playground using Rowan Drive.
