Mayo Leisure Point reopens after renovations

At the end of November Mayo Leisure Point celebrated its post renovations grand opening and 22nd birthday in style with a day of fun for all the family. It was honoured to have Special Olympics bronze medal winner Martina Walsh officially open the new look bowling alley.

Padraic Walsh of Midwest radio broadcast his Late Late Lunch Box live from the venue with a special performance by Davitt College students from their production of Thank Abba for the Music. They were also joined by special guests and the Mayo and Connacht senior club football champions from Castlebar Mitchels who brought along their two cups. There was face painting, free bowling and Mayo Leisure Point thanks everyone who went along and made it such a fun day.
