The Ballinrobe 10k and 5k is the final event in the Great Lakes Challenge series.

It has enjoyed much success and has been getting rave reviews from participants since it launched.

The series concludes with the Ballinrobe 10k and 5k event on Saturday evening at 6.30pm on April 18.

Organisers, including Mayo County Council’s road safety officer Noel Gibbons, are calling on everyone, from seasoned runners to first-time event participants, to come along to Ballinrobe on the day and enjoy the great outdoors, the scenic route and fun family atmosphere.

Afterwards, the Great Lakes Series awards will be presented at Costello’s Bar, Abbey Street, Ballinrobe.
