Magical Christmas experiences at Westport House

Westport House is a real Winter Wonderland for all of the family this Christmas.

Westport House is a real Winter Wonderland for all of the family this Christmas.

Westport House has a bustling programme of events running through December and into the New Year.

Winter Wonderland, the magical Christmas experience at the historic stately home in the heart of Westport, has been getting rave reviews since it started at the end of November.

One parent couldn’t speak highly enough about it.

“Fantastic experience. Our two children loved it! We were there for hours and we were completely entertained throughout. It was a really magical experience and we will definitely be going back next year.”

The good news is that the Winter Wonderland is running every day from Friday, December 19, through to Christmas Eve, and there are still some spots left to see Santa and to experience a wonderfully festive day out with the family.

The group visit with Santa himself lasts 20 to 25 minutes at a scheduled time but families should set aside at least two to three hours to enjoy the whole experience.

Attractions include the brand new ginger bread men making workshop, the ‘Elves Factor Carol-oke’, a carol singing train ride into Westport, yule tide log making, the very popular storytime with Mrs Claus, the miniature railway on the grounds, Christmas wish tree, face painting and complimentary drinks for all.

Advanced bookings are strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.
