Hearty response to Love Castlebar's 'facelift' project

Love Castlebar, the voluntary group promoting pride of place in the county town, is going from strength to strength.

The group has just finished cleaning and painting four more vacant buildings in the town centre as part of its 'facelift' project to improve the town's streetscapes.

The team of volunteers has given the Upper Crust, Top Nosh, and the old Vodafone shop, all on Main Street, as well as the vacant green shop on Castle Street a facelift.

Volunteers meet every Sunday at 11am on Elvery’s, Main Street. All are welcome.
