A Newport based designer is bidding for a top fashion gong next week at the Irish Fashion Innovation Awards.
Lisa Ryder is hoping she will retain her title of Accessory Designer of the Year at the awards ceremony in the Radisson Blu Hotel on Thursday (April 17 ).
She was chosen as last year's winner by a panel of leading fashion and design experts.
The awards celebrate and highlight young design talent in Ireland in categories such as millinery, accessories, jewellery and dress design.
Ms Ryder is a textile designer and studied at GMIT Galway before going on to achieve an MA at Glasgow School of Art.
