Rackhouse Pilfer to Rock Crockets Ballina this Sunday

Rackhouse Pilfer are a six-piece stompin' Americana/roots/rockgrass band based in Sligo. Formed in 2012 through lifelong musical friendships and bands ranging from folk and blues, to American country, traditional Irish music, and even heavy metal. These early influences have brought the band to a radically distinctive sound and high octane performance on stage.

Along with original songs, the band perform bluegrass and folk songs, old-time country songs and reinterpretations of their favourite artists/music. The band is made up of Leon Mooney, Fiachra Cunningham, Leslie Jones, Mark McGovern, Willie Kelly and Duane Gallagher. They have been touring Ireland and Europe all summer in support of their album Back to the Country. Rackhouse Pilfer will take to the stage in Crockets on the Quay in Ballina from 7pm this Sunday evening, September 29.
