Eurona Brisknet opens new premises to serve the west

Last week saw the official opening of Eurona Brisknet’s new offices in Roscommon.

Located on the Golf Links Road in Roscommon town, the company is part of the Eurona Telecoms Group - a leader across Europe for offering wireless telecoms. As part of this Eurona Brisknet offers internet for thousands of homes and businesses in rural areas, including areas of the country where other internet providers don’t go.

They have a customer-focused approach, and local back-up is at hand when required.

They pride themselves on their ability to deliver high speed broadband to rural areas, as well as offering a fixed wireless internet connection in County Roscommon.

The staff of Eurona Brisknet including CEO of Eurona Brisknet in Ireland, Craig Bluff, and owner of Eurona Brisknet, Jaume Sanpera, were on hand to welcome guests to the launch.

Attending the launch last week Mayor of Roscommon County Council Tom Crosby said he was delighted and honoured to be at the launch. “Thanks to Craig and the staff of Eurona Brisknet for inviting me here. This company has done some fantastic things, giving employment and offering a service that’s second to none. They offer great value for money.

“Broadband is an essential service for everyone. And it’s a huge benefit to Roscommon to have this fantastic service at our doorstep,” he added.

Deputy Denis Naughten was also in attendance on the night. He praised the company for providing such an excellent service. “This high speed internet capacity from Eurona is putting rural communities at the cutting edge. The 20mb broadband can give local communities a broadband highway the whole way to Dublin,” he added.

Mr Sanpera then spoke of how and why he founded the company. He described the dream he had 10 years ago in Spain, “a mission to bring broadband to rural area”.

“We’ve come all the way to Roscommon from Spain. It’s great to work with Craig and his team who share my dream to bring broadband to rural areas,” he added.

CEO of Eurona Brisknet in Ireland, Craig Bluff, thanked his staff for their great support. Telling guests of his shared dream to bring high speed internet to as many places as they can he said the new 20mb service offered by the company was ideal for businesses and homes in rural areas.

“Thanks to the support we’ve had from clients we’ve doubled as a company for the last four years and our intention is to double over the next two years,” Mr Bluff added.

Eurona Brisknet prides itself on offering excellent local-based customer service, with staff available for any technical support that is needed. Their engineers aim to call out to a customer within 24 hours of their reporting a problem, while installation is carried out within seven days of a customer’s initial contact with the company.
