Pensioner gives undertaking not to drive until case heard

A 74-year-old man from Crossmolina has given an undertaking not to drive until his court case will be heard at Ballina District Court next year.

Martin Fleming, Rathnamagh, Crossmolina, faces road traffic offences which occurred on three separate dates—April 10 2012, April 30 2012, and October 8 2012.

Superintendent Joe Doherty that in the public interest he would ask that the defendant give an undertaking not to drive. Fleming gave the undertaking.

Judge Mary Devins adjourned the case to January 2 2013 for mention and for the possibility of further charges.
