The Mayo.ie photo competition is now in its final month and has attracted a wonderful response. Entries included photos of Smurfs on top of Croagh Patrick (maybe they were actually blue with the cold ), amazing scenic shots from the length and breadth of County Mayo and beyond, and some highly unusual photographic compositions.
Such has been the quality of the submissions that the Mayo.ie team has had difficulty even in the generation of short-lists for a public vote. Who knew there were so many fantastic photographers with a Mayo connection.
The ultimate aim of this photo competition has been the generation of a 2013 calendar with a unique Mayo flavour and that is exactly what all your entries to the photo competition have achieved.
