At the June meeting of the officers of Castlebar Men’s Shed group, chairman Michael Mc Tigue announced that the Men’s Shed workshop site was now secured for members, at Unit 4, Moneen Enterprise Centre. After preparatory work of painting and fitting-out is completed, members will have their own place and a work area to carry out their individual projects.
The unit will also be a great location to drop in, keep up-to-date on Men’s Shed activities and share a cuppa and company of fellow members.
In fitting out the workspace for the Men’s Shed group, the members will appreciate receiving any unwanted work tools or a donation of any surplus tools from DIY outlets.
The Men’s Shed group has already identified a number of local activities that members will be keen to lend support to and provide some volunteer work time.
